I loved this book. It was so full of drama, loyalty, friendship and scorching love that I wanted to jump into the story and be best
friends with Catherine, the female main character. She went through the wringer, more than once, to such an extent I wasn’t sure she’d ever get her happy ever after.
The story will have you laugh, cry, scream and curse in equal measures at the challenges this couple had to face. Jackson, the male main character, is broody, grumpy, loving and adoring — all wrapped up in a sexy-as-sin body with skills in the bedroom that go beyond his abilities as an ex-Navy SEAL. The only question is: will they be able to get past the issues that threaten to tear them apart or will they be lost to each other forever? No spoilers but don’t expect it all to be wrapped up in book 1. Catherine and Jackson’s story continues in Beholden.
