Lucky – A Review

What a fabulous and delicious romantic comedy!

Dylan, an in-between-work actress with an unfortunate roommate and bad luck in a sauna, bumps into big-screen heartthrob Mason, and the two bond, kind of, over an escaped piglet and a country farm.

Mason and Dylan’s story is full of swoon-worthy moments, laugh-out-loud incidents, and heat-up-the-room steaminess. They have great chemistry, and the attraction crackles between them, but of course, things are never as easy as you’d hoped they’d be.

Mason has a troubled past and Dylan fights against her insecurities, making their relationship rocky at times.

Heather Grace Stewart has a real knack for writing characters that are so real and down to earth you’d want them to be your best friends. She takes everyday incidents, finds the funny side of them, and make you howl with laughter. The romance is genuine, heartfelt, and engaging and makes you feel as if you’ve just experienced the love story of the century.

Add in a piglet, a couple of horses, some burly firefighters, and a Wiccan altar, and you’ve got yourself a cracker of a story.

I laughed, cried, grumbled, swooned, and rolled my eyes with every stumble, leap, and cartwheel the story made. It’s a page turner, and I didn’t come up for air until I’d read the last word. Jump on the rollercoaster of giggles, heartache, anger, grief, and true love. You won’t regret it.
